V2 launch sites and infrastucture

Wernher von Braun started his work on this rocket originally named A4 on 1938/39. There were many prototypes before it, leading to this first working ballistic rocket.

The rocket has a total weight of 12,7 tons, with 975 kg of the warhead, 4,1 tons of ethanol/water mixture (B-Stoff) and 5,5 tons of liquid oxygen (LOX) (A-Stoff).

There were heavy bunkers projected to launch this rockets from France. But all locations were destroyed by heay bombardments, leading to a mobile lunch strategy.

Sone of this mobile lauch-locations don't even have a concrete launchpad.
